Duration: Six months(Extendable based on requirement)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain a digital repository for Sindhi folklore.
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Integrate metadata standards, identifiers, and scholarly publishing tools.
- Ensure smooth server deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the research team to translate project requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap and/or Tailwind CSS.
- Hands-on experience with Open Journal Systems (OJS).
- Experience working with other CMS platforms.
- Understanding of server management, including Linux basics, Apache/Nginx configuration, and SSH.
- Familiarity with metadata standards, TEI and IIIF relevant to digital repositories.
- Understanding of DOI assignment, Crossref integration
Duration & Remuneration:
- The appointment will be purely on a project basis.
- Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per institute norms.
